Reviews seem to consistently complain that the resistance in the spring is low, but we think that's to be expected in this entry level product. Just don't buy it if you're looking for something intense. Similarly the grip itself is pretty small and the foam is likely to move and slip under your hand if you use this with too much vigor. However, if you have small hands and are just trying to rehabilitate some injured muscles or provide basic tone to your arms, this product is a great way to go about it. Basically, Cathe handgrip is compact (so you can put it in your pocket and take it places), effective (if you use it, your forearms and hands will get stronger) and black (because black is as good a color as any, really).

So even though people looking for more advanced and rigorous exercise would be better suited exploring other products, you really can't go wrong with Cathe as an entry level exercise machine to kick around a bit or use in your spare time while you watch TV. $7.95 is a killer price, and you can bet that as long as you don't lose it or break it on purpose, this spring will last a while.
